A SaaS platform, primarily for its strong commitment to "the partnership way" philosophy. This philosophy is all about fostering a two-way relationship between the platform and its users. The platform caters to the needs of dentists and customer care, offering a suite of features that aid in tracking patient treatment progress and facilitate communication with partners for treatment reviews.
The Challenge
The daily workflow of dentists and nurses is greatly enhanced by this indispensable tool, making it a crucial part of their routine. To maintain its popularity and avoid alienating dedicated users, the design process must be approached with caution, ensuring updates do not disrupt the user experience.
Redesigning Clinic Cloud
The team honed in on key features for our target users, streamlining patient treatment management. In-depth research and iterative testing shaped our wireframes, swiftly adapting to user feedback for refinement. Opting for a card-based dashboard, inspired by insights from dentist workflows, we crafted initial prototypes. These foundational explorations set the stage for the project's design direction and execution, marrying functionality with user-centric innovation.

Defining the Epics
After testing initial prototypes and shortlisting the priority we landed on the following Epics for the first version: Dashboard, Patient List, Patient Card, Calendar view, and Case Library.
The Outcome
A comprehensive ecosystem was meticulously crafted to clarify the functions of each constituent in the Zenyum partnership, including the treatment planning process for patients, the role of nurses, the communication between external partners, and the utilization of training resources.
Keep everything on track with better Information Architecture
Modules help to display the content hierarchy, and group data according to their significance, correlation, and logical connections. Each module serves a specific purpose within the treatment process.
Good Mental Model of Competency
Users have a better understanding of what task requires attention and a clear grouping of various stages of treatment.
High Efficiency of Use
The introduction of a control panel was designed to streamline the dashboard and provide users with only the essential tools within easy reach. Studies have revealed that having too many available tools can lead to confusion and hinder users from completing their tasks effectively.
Increased Visibility of System Status
Users can have detailed control over each stage of a patient's treatment. Users are informed of the current pending state of treatment and what to do next.
In addition to the visual redesign, the team also worked on a few marketing collaterals. One of them was tutorial videos for dentists and partnership onboarding. The design uses a snapshot of our wireframes to set the direction of the content structure.
Outcome
With the original design, the set of tasks took 9.6 minutes. With the new design, the set of tasks took 3 minutes. Nearly 73% reduced on-task time.
Users' subjective satisfaction with the new design (4.1/5) was 231% higher than the original design (1.24/5).
Training Kit
Partnership training is a multi-step process. While redesigning Clinic Cloud, I also led a team of designers and marketers who created the training deck and instructional video content as a stepper component, which was then added as a tool to the overall ecosystem.

The creation of Clinic Cloud, a critical component of the Zenyum workflow toolkit, demands a rigorous and focused approach to design.
